Traditional Indian Dance

We were fortunate enough to catch the last half of a traditional Indian dance performance in Guruvayur. After the show the young performers came out the side exit of the small theatre and were promptly ambushed by Rick and I as we jockeyed for position to see who could get the best photos. I think we were more of a spectacle for the many pilgrims that were about than the dancers were. The girls were very patient with us and seemed delighted when I played back some of the images for them on the back of the camera.

I am told that this was a Bharathanatyam performance.
