After leaving the festival at Faridkot, we put in a 70+ mile day on our way down to a place called Abohar. There’s nothing to really see in Abohar except some crazy traffic, but the hotel that we stayed at had a courtyard with a beautiful lawn. For some reason all day I had been craving going to a city park and laying on the grass and staring at the blue sky. These are things that are not easy to come by in India, so when I saw this lawn I threw myself down and imagined that the sky was blue. The hotel staff stared blankly.
Most of these images are from one of dozens of small villages that we passed that day, and the rest are from a brick ‘factory’ about 20 miles outside of Abuhar.
